What are label dispensers?

Label dispensers, also known as manual applicators or manual label dispensers, are labeling units that can be used to label a wide variety of products with various types of self-adhesive labels. Their main job is to unwind label reels, remove labels from the backing paper or label web and wind up the backing paper. The applicator can be equipped with a printing unit if required. This allows the user to print labels with, for example, lines of text, changing dates, barcodes and batch numbers.

The particular feature of label dispensers is that the self-adhesive labels for the workflow are removed from the dispensing beak manually and the next label is made available automatically by the label reel.

HERMA label dispensers are the perfect small, handy and robust solutions for small production runs. The manual applicators are easy to use and ensure a quick workflow. Thanks to their compact size, the label dispensers can be easily integrated into different work processes, thereby flexibly optimizing the processing of small batches.

Our HERMA fix manual label dispenser is operated using the buttons on the display. Applicator parameters for the labeling operation can be entered and adjusted via the display. The device dispenses one label at a time from the backing paper for manual removal at the dispensing beak. The label web is transferred by a mating roller that is driven electronically by a step motor.

The HERMA fix is available in two versions depending on your requirements: with and without a product stopper. The label dispenser is equipped with a suitable bench pedestal depending on the version.
